Happy Birthday, Sam!

Recently, we celebrated our favorite guy's birthday!   As the big day approached, the girls and I got busy making presents.

Scout tries so hard to figure the girls out!  She comes out from wherever she naps to watch them so crafts.

It was fun creating and making a beautiful mess together with the girls.

In our family, you have a birthday week!  It is so much fun to draw these celebrations out a little bit longer and really enjoy the birthday person and their interests.
S wanted to go shopping and use up some gift cards he had squirreled away, so we went as a family.  Our first stop was TSC!  The girls are so into tractors right now!

Besides being cute, they also found some hats to suit their personalities...

We also shopped til we almost dropped in some other stores.  It was way past bedtime, but the girls kept saying, "more shopping!"
Later in the week the girls helped S shuck corn and grill out.  This is us on Slow Sunday afternoons after naptime!

Once a week we drive into town to eat "munch" with Papa.  We moved things around a little bit so we could take him out on his special day.

The girls love their Papa.  I have to agree with them - he's a fantastic one!

FLs expression in the picture above is cracking me up, "Yep.  I put up with these crazy people every day..."

These are the three most special, wonderful people in all the world to me!

It was so fun celebrating S all week.  This is the girls' forth birthday party/event and they are really, really getting into it - especially the cake and ice cream part!

Happy Birthday, Sam!  You are sooooooo special to us!
