Spring Days/Pool Days

For the first time, I put the girls in their bathing suits (or "baying soups" as C says) and we tried out the little pool!  I let them eat their afternoon snack in the pool ( which is why you see them playing with orange peels) and though a little wary at first, they had a good time!

It was especially strange to FL, but she now gets excited with C about new adventures.

She gradually got into it.

And in the end they were both crawling around in it pretending they were horses! 

When that got old they pretended to make beet pulp and soaked alfalfa for the animals.

FL was first out, but I thought she did great for her first time!

Little Miss Sunbonnet Sue.  I'll never get tired of their sun hats!

The bathing beauty had a fantastic time!

But the cool breezes got the best of us and they ended up playing with cloud dough for a very long time.  I like this stuff so much better outside!

C and FL have become experts at silly poses!

Cloud dough is one texture that sticks to her hands that she doesn't really mind.  And yes, they loved putting their feet (and mine) into the dough!

Y'all, she wasn't singing here, she was sangin'!!!

We enjoy these pleasant Spring days that are without Mosquitos and too much humidity.  Soon enough that will all change!

And I think I need to buy a few more bathing suits because we are going to be living in them this summer!!!

I've always enjoyed Springtime, but these two make it 1,000 times more wonderful!
