I took the girls on a spur of the moment trip to our local park out in the country. Our home is like a park, but we don't have slides, swings and big play equipment. I had planned on staying home, as we had a big day before and a big one coming up, but C was not having it when I told her my plans. She blurted out, "park!" So, in the spirit of good communication skills and beautiful Spring weather, off we went!
Yes, they're as cute in person as they are in pictures. Maybe cuter.
FL's gross motor skills and muscle tone have improved so much. It is really amazing to watch her grow and change.
Even C has changed - she seems like such a big girl sometimes. Here she is trying out the big girl swings.
Speaking of swings, here is FL laughing and refusing to look at me before getting on her swing!

We had a fantastic time at the park. The weather was perfect and we had it all to ourselves!
More outdoor fun was had in the afternoon. It was warm out, so I filled some buckets with water and added a few plastic containers and stones.
C and FL had a good time and stayed cool. Plus, they were precious in their sun hats!

Having bare feet is a new favorite. They ask for "socks off" all of the time, now. : )
We are enjoying every minute of the sunshine and perfect weather! Hooray for Spring!
