Springtime is so short in the Deep South - if you blink you will miss it! That being said, when we have beautiful Spring days with mild weather, you must take advantage of them! Because of this, I've inadvertently tossed any lesson plans aside and we have headed outdoors to enjoy the gentle breezes and warm sunshine. Being outside is one of my favorite things. The girls really enjoy it and we have twenty acres to roam, so it has been a happy, busy time!
My phone and iPad are so full of pictures I don't even know how to organize them into posts! It is a happy time, though, and I hope you enjoy looking at our joyful disorder! : )
Many picture posts to follow this one!
I've been taking the girls to a branch of the local library on Tuesday mornings for story time. They have a few other children there that are of different races, this particular branch has LOTS of books for children that center around Asian culture and it is on our route to the grocery store. : )
Two books are read centering around a theme, then we do a simple craft that goes along with it.
There are not so many children and the branch is not so big that it is overwhelming. They have super clean bathrooms, too, which is great when you have two littles! ; ) There's also a Montessori school next door, so they are quite used to children.
We've been twice and hope to continue! It is a nice, quiet outing and we pick up a few books to read before bedtime each night.
And just when I think the girls can't get any cuter, they do!
